Dhundo is free to search. Paid plans raise the allowances and add a few tools on top. This page explains what a plan is made of, so the numbers on the cards above mean something.
What a plan is made of
Every plan is described by the same four things. A search allowance: how many ordinary searches you may run in a given period, or unlimited. A deep-search allowance: how many of the slower, wider searches you get in that period. Reveal-deal tokens: how many times you can unlock a hidden deal. And a price, in Pakistani rupees, charged per period.
Because those four values are set in the admin panel rather than fixed in the code, the plan cards above are the authoritative list. This page explains the shape; the cards give the current numbers.
Free versus paid
The free tier is a real tier, not a trial. Searching, comparing prices across stores, browsing categories and following a link out to a retailer all work without an account and without paying.
An account adds continuity - your search history, liked products and wishlist persist across visits and devices. A paid plan raises the ceilings for someone who searches often enough to reach them. Most people never do.
Promotional periods
There are stretches when a promotional period is active and paid features are open to everyone. When that is on, the plan cards say so rather than quietly charging nothing, and the banner above reflects the same state the rest of the product reads.
A promotional period ends. When it does, allowances return to whatever your plan says, and nothing is charged retroactively for the period that was free.
What paying does not get you
It does not get you better prices. The prices shown are the retailers' prices and are identical on every plan, including the free one.
It does not get you more stores. Every plan searches the same more than 130 stores; the difference is how many searches you may run, not how wide they reach.
It does not get you priority in the results. The ranking is computed from how well a product matches the query, and no plan influences it.
Common questions
- How does billing work?
- A plan carries a price and a period, and it renews on that period until you cancel. The exact figures for the current plans are on the cards above, and the billing terms are set out in the Terms of Service.
- How do I cancel?
- You can change or cancel your plan from account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the period you are in, which is set out in the Return and Refund Policy.
- Can I get a refund?
- Refund eligibility for a digital subscription is narrower than for physical goods, and the Return and Refund Policy is the document that governs it. Read it before subscribing rather than after.
